Excellent parking options

Our town offers around 5,000 parking spaces, 840 of which are in fee-based short-term parking zones. 2,700 long-term parking spaces, including several free parking areas, are located within a four-minute walking distance of the main square. Here, parking can be done for any length of time. Therefore, every point in the city centre can be reached in a few minutes on foot.

Parking offensive

Especially in terms of parking, which is particularly important for a trading city like Villach, our city is very proactive. Expansion possibilities are not parked here but are implemented quickly. After all, thousands of customers, guests and employees commute to our city daily, for whom sufficient parking capacities have been created.

A few minutes on foot 

Understandably, a parking space cannot always be available at every store. This is especially true in Villach because the medieval city centre has grown organically and is therefore structurally somewhat "complicated" in some places. In addition, a beautiful and closed pedestrian zone can be offered to the guest. Unfortunately, this means that the motorized city visitor sometimes has to take a few minutes on foot.

About 5,000 parking spaces

According to the parking guidance system, our city is practically divided into four zones. Each zone is assigned a colour so that it can be easily approached. With the 15 parking lots and approximately 5,000 parking spaces and a city centre as a shopping centre that offers everything the heart desires, every point in the city centre can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
